I've written a short description of each product that's appropriate for this site.
There are two main types of "femme" products: medical, which is the type used by gynecologists and other healthcare professionals, and cosmetic. Most of these products, especially in the US, are made by a number of companies and may or may not be tested for safety. Many of these products don't even have "health" claims, and instead advertise themselves as "femme" or "feminine." The main goal of these products is to create a more feminine image for your body, rather than "preserving" your natural appearance. Medical products also include things like hormone replacement therapy and hormone-blocking creams. The medical products that are most likely to be found in your local pharmacy are those that have estrogen or progesterone in them. They usually contain the synthetic estrogen, which does not work and is unsafe, and has been linked to cancer and other serious side effects. There are no estrogen-blocking creams or other natural products that block estrogen and may be good options, but you have to look for them. You should be concerned about the safety of many cosmetic products in your local pharmacy. They are often formulated to be "non-invasive" and include a product called a "dye" that is supposed to color your skin, which is not harmful if you just use the product as directed.
